Tips And Tricks For Car Boot Sale

1- Clothing:

Wear your old jeans with a warm sweater/shirt. Don't wear new pants as most of car boots are in muddy areas. Shoes should be Wellington boots or your old joggers. A jacket with hood would be good in case of rain.

2-Bag:

Your bag should be empty, with minimum cash and no valuables. Try to take side shoulder bag as they are more convenient and easy to carry. Put some shopping bags in it for buying stuff.

3-Cash:

Try to take small notes like £5 only and as much coins as you can. As its mostly coins game.

4-Snacking:

Try to keep small snack item with you as you will probably leave without breakfast so in case you feel low.

5-Essentials:

Don't forget your car keys, house keys and mobile as once I forgot my mobile at home.

General Tips:

6- If you are going to walk like I do then try to buy a walking shopping trolley. Its very hard to carry items like jewellery boxes or big boxed items even if you live nearby.
7-Try to bargain on all items, but not like if seller is saying all items here 50p and you pick one item and say can you take 20p? Then you won't get anything and he will ask you to move on...lol..Sorry
8- If you buy large item in start ask seller to keep it with him and you will pick it up a bit later.
9- Go early so you will get new boxed items, around 8.30am is a good time to get bargains.
10- If you will visit late around 11pm then prices will be very low as then seller reduced prices to get rid of items and you still might get some good items.

Last but not least enjoy car boot sale and don't take tension if you buy a wrong item or you miss one as then it will become a hectic business and you don't want it to happen in a Sunday morning.
