How Much Money You Can Make

Like all others I will also say its up to you. How much effort you can put inn. Work more you will get more.Still I would like to show you how much you can make with car boot sale. I spent £8 to £12 and try to buy at least 4 to 5 items. Each gives me minimum £5 profit.Even though this is not the case, as I had £47 profit in first week and £29 in second week. But lets try to do maths with minimum figures we can achieve. So if we get £5 profit from each item after subtracting its original cost then
Budget =£8 to buy 5 items. One can be £2 others probably £1 or £50p
  1. 5 Items *5                          = £25
  2.  4 Sunday*25                     =£100
Lets take our budget to £20 and buy 10 items
  1. 10 Items*5                         =£50
  2. 4 Sundays*50                    =£200
  3. 12 Months*200                 =£2400
I hope now you understand how much one can make with minimum efforts, as I make £150 each month with 4 to 5 items per week as I walk down to car boot and its difficult to carry lots of stuff.
It is easy but not too easy, as you have to make some effort to check the stuff if everything working and in good condition. Then spend some time to check the price of new item and used item before placing them on to ebay. Next task is to put them on ebay with good quality pictures and an effective description.

Am I Making Good Money:

The straight answer of this question is "No". As I am taking it as a hobby not as a full time business or even part time. I only spend maximum an hour to list items on eBay. On Sunday morning again I only spend 1 to 2 hour in browsing and buying.  I keep my budget £8 to £12 on car boot sale and buy 4 to 5 items once a week. This is surely not going to give me lots of money. Probably because I am a full time house wife and take care of an 8 months old. My husband works full time and has a healthy salary. I take this car boot as a fun activity and enjoys some time out while my baby and husband still sleeping. I like to do a quick breakfast on Sunday morning around 8am and put some nuts in my jacket pocket, keep some coins and shopping bags in my shoulder bag and walk to the empty streets to a busy car boot sale. I reached there about 8:30 am and leave around 9.30am. So now you know how I am running this hobby as its not something to call a business. But you surely will have some extra cash at least £100 a month and £1200 in a year to add on a nice holiday. So ball is in your court, if you want to do it or not.
